Starter Website Package

This is the starting point for any business. An online presence making it easier for existing and prospective customers to make contact with you. A professional website with your own website address that you can use on business cards, stationery, vehicles, advertising, directory listings etc.

All sites we build are registered with the main search engines (Google, Yahoo! and Bing) so that anyone searching for your business by name will be able to find your website.

Includes:

• Design and build of website including up to 3 pages
• Contact page with phone, fax, email and postal address (optional) and a Google Map showing your business location
• Use your own logo or we can create a simple text-based logo for you
• Up to 5 stock photos – we can select some images from stock photo libraries for you to choose from
• You supply us with the text for each page – we check it for spelling and grammar before uploading
• Accreditation logos – if you are a member of any relevant trade organisations we can add their logos to your site which helps to build trust with prospective customers
• Include testimonials on your site as well as links to any other sites that contain reviews of your business
• Up to 5 email accounts – view your emails online via webmail, have them forwarded to a Gmail account or download them onto your computer using mail software such as Outlook or Windows Mail
• Choice of standard web fonts such as Arial, Verdana, Times New Roman etc
• Free hosting for one year*
• Free .co.uk domain** (this is your website address – e.g. www.your-company.co.uk)

*At the end of the first year hosting can be renewed for £60 per year. Please note that the first year of hosting begins when we register your domain name, not when the website goes live.

** .co.uk domains are initially registered for two years. The domain name will need to be renewed every two years. Registration of .co.uk domains usually cost about £4 per year – in addition to this we charge an administration fee of £12 which means that every two years we will invoice you for £20 to cover the renewal of your domain registration for the following two years. This is done at the same time as the hosting renewal.

Professional Website Package

Includes all features from the Starter Website Package plus:

• 2 extra pages making 5 in total.
• Fully optimised for the local search phrases that matter to you. We optimise the content of your website to give you the best possible chance of showing up near the top of the search engines whenever someone searches for the services you provide in your local area.
• We create a Google Analytics account for you so you can track how well your website is doing, how many visits it gets and what your visitors are searching for when they find your site. We also submit an XML sitemap to Google using Google Webmaster Tools to help Google find all the pages on your site.
• We build the website using WordPress which means you can edit the content of the website whenever you want to.

Please note: the WordPress software needs to be updated from time to time. You will have full access to do this from your admin area but if you would prefer us to do the updates for you there is an additional charge of £25 per year.

Bespoke Business Websites

Includes all features from the Professional Website Package plus:

• Tailor your website to suit your needs and add as many bespoke elements as you want.

Examples of bespoke elements to add to your website include:

• Copywriting – know a lot about your business but need some help putting that knowledge into words that will appeal to website readers? Simply fill out our short questionnaire with some basic details about your business and we will write the text for you. We will then upload this to the test site so you can make any suggestions or amendments. Read more about our copywriting & proofreading services.
• Full on-site search engine optimisation. We will optimise all page titles, headings, meta descriptions and page content for the main search phrases that your potential customers may use, for example if you run a plumbing business in Grantham then your search phrases would include ‘plumber Grantham’, ‘plumbing Grantham’.
• Off-site search engine optimisation – need more exposure for your site or want to get higher up the search engine rankings? This is where links to your site from other sites come in. We can obtain links from industry-specific directories and other relevant sites for you.
• Extra Pages – need more than 5 pages? No problem, add as many extra pages as you like for £25 per page.
• Google Places - Register your business with Google Places and gain additional exposure in the Google search results.
• Professionally designed graphical logo to be supplied in suitable formats for use on the website and also on printed material.
• Custom fonts – give your site a unique look with a non-standard web font. View our fonts page for more details.
• Contact form – need to collect answers to various questions at point of contact? A customised contact form can be tailored to collect whatever information you require.
• Blog – a blog can be a great way of adding new content to your site and posting news items
• Google Analytics account creation and integration with your website. Keep track of how many people visit your site, how they found your site, how long they stayed and what they were searching for. Read more about Google Analytics.
